No hidden costs: prices including environmental surcharges
From January 1, 2023, we as a producer and importer will pay a contribution for all SUP products that we bring to the Dutch market. Unfortunately, we are forced to pass on these costs to our customers. The SUP storage applies to single-use food packaging, which is partly or entirely made of plastic. This also includes cardboard disposables that contain a thin (bio) plastic coating. A fixed amount of 2,30 per 1000 pieces applies to the SUP storage.
In addition to the SUP storage, there is also a waste management contribution for all products that we bring to the Dutch market. This amount depends on the material of the product. The more sustainable the product, the lower this contribution.
The SUP storage, as well as the waste management contribution, is already included in the prices on the website!

Description
Serve your fries or snacks and are you still looking for a container with a natural look? Then this A7 snack tray made of sugar cane is a good option! This sustainable disposable is 11.2 by 8.4 by 3.2 cm in size and is therefore ideal for serving small portions of fries or other delicacies such as poffertjes or zibbeling. Sugarcane(Pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called Bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Products from sugar cane are made from the pulp that remains after the juice is separated from the reeds. With the help of heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and formed into the disposables that you see with us in the virtual shelves.
Products from Bagasse are fully made from renewable raw materials and therefore completely plastic-free. In addition, they are also 100% biodegradable and compostable according to EN13432. Products made from sugar cane are also food -safe and taste -neutral.
