Sustainable menu boxes made of different materials
In our assortment you can find meal containers and disposable containers with lids made of different materials. For example, we sell Kraft cardboard meal boxes and sugarcane meal containers. Meal box Kraft cardboard is made from paper pulp and is often recognizable by its natural and brown look. The applied coating of bio plastic (PLA) makes the product food-safe and grease-free. In addition, this product is moisture resistant, taste and odor neutral. The cardboard snack trays are made from Kraft Cardboard. Kraft Cardboard is a natural material and has the great advantage that it is a renewable and recyclable material and thus prevents plastic waste. Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Meal box sugarcane is made from the pulp that remains after the juice has been separated from the cane.
Microwave containers, Wok to Go cups, foam menu boxes and much more
Microwave containers
TakeAware does have a sustainable option for all types of dishes, for take-away but also for serving a dish on the spot. The microwave containers are an example of both. The microwave containers are very suitable for transporting mashed potatoes, curry, fried rice and many other dishes. Ready-to-eat meals can be scooped up first and then heated up at home (in the trays). Because the microwave containers (the name says it all) can be used in the microwave, your customers can almost always take dishes home in a paper bag.
Wok to Go cups
The wok to go cups are ideal for wok dishes, but also for other Asian dishes such as spring rolls or rice. The wok cups are heat resistant but also keep the contents warm. If the customer does not finish the dish, it can of course always be taken in a doggy bag and the dish will remain warm long enough in the wok-to-go cup. The TakeAware menu boxes are made from the sustainable material sugarcane. The 1, 2 and 3-compartment menu box is not only useful for transporting food, but also for serving dishes. Meal containers with lid
There is a lid for every pot. This also applies to TakeAware's meal trays and menu boxes! The microwave kilo containers can be combined with two different lids. The first lid is a cardboard lid made of the same material as the microwave containers themselves. The alternative is a transparent lid, which is useful because the customer can immediately see the contents of the container. It is important to remember that the microwave containers are supplied without a lid. So this must be ordered separately! Matching lids are also available for the rectangular dishes.
Oriental meal boxes: also with logo!
The oriental meal boxes are available in three different sizes. The kraft boxes have a PE coating that ensures that the box is food safe, but also grease-free.
