Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also known as bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Products made from sugar cane are crafted from the pulp that remains after extracting the juice from the cane. Through the application of heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and molded into the disposables you see on our website.
