Sustainable plates and trays made of different materials

Palm leaf is residual waste from palm tree plantations. The great thing about palm disposables is that every product is unique, because every leaf is unique! The palm loses its leaves several times a year while growing. The leaves are then collected, washed and dried. At a high temperature, the dried leaves are finally formed into beautiful plates, bowls and amuse containers.

Sugarcane or bagasse is one of the most environmentally friendly materials because it is 100% biodegradable. It is cultivated in several countries and grows very fast. This way it can often be harvested every six months. It is used, among other things, for menu boxes, snack trays and plates.

PLA is a biodegradable plastic that comes from crops such as corn and sugarcane. The big advantage of PLA products is that they are transparent, so that dishes are perfectly visible. PLA is therefore widely used for amuse containers or meal containers with a transparent lid.
