Looking for cardboard disposables?
Everyone knows paper and cardboard, but there are still different choices you can make. Perhaps common sense, but to make cardboard and paper, trees have to be cut down. Of course we cannot prevent this, but we can deal with it in a responsible and environmentally conscious manner. This is exactly the reason why we strive to only offer disposables made of Kraft paper or with the FSC® label. Think for example of salad poke bowl lids.
Cardboard with a FSC® quality mark
Products that meet the FSC® guidelines are made from wood from responsibly managed forest areas. In this way, deforestation is prevented, which is important to reduce CO2 emissions and combat climate change. When felling trees, FSC® takes people and animals into account. The forest is divided into sections and trees are harvested in a different section each year, so that the forest can recover properly. When cardboard disposables have an FSC® quality mark, the product is considered sustainable.
