From 12 August 2026, the new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will apply. This regulation introduces new requirements for producers and suppliers of packaging.

As a producer and supplier of packaging products, TakeAware is aware of its responsibilities. We have carefully prepared for the new requirements and are incorporating them into our business processes.

We hereby confirm that TakeAware takes the requirements of the PPWR into account and is working on implementing the relevant legal requirements within our organisation.

Due to the size of our product range, product-specific supporting documents and evidence are currently being further completed and reviewed in cooperation with our producers and suppliers. Where necessary, we are taking appropriate measures to comply with the new requirements.

As regulations continue to increase, so does the amount of related documentation. To avoid unnecessary data exchange and additional administrative work, we do not send declarations of conformity or supporting documents to customers as standard.
